Bought a lot from this company. Open box usually means used, often very very used. New is usually new, but sometimes opened. I no longer buy anything open box from them.

These are likely returned items from Target. The better ones get resold as new, and the worse ones as open box. I've returned open box items before—they were heavily used, missing parts, or defective.
