Chester said it himself, there is no Linkin Park without Mike Shinoda. I'm as sad as anyone Chester is gone but the new band sounds great too and has a similar feel because Mike has always been the one who wrote the lyrics and helped composed the songs more than anyone else in the group. That's not opinion that's just truth, but that's no shade on Chester either because I get where you are coming from. The band deserves to continue if they want to and I applaud them because they are doing a good job
