The 2nd game is excellent. 1 and 3 are okay. The problem is that the game/s is heavily limited by DLC. That and constant drama from the development team with game breaking bugs, greedy DLC practices, and misplaced priorities.
For $23, its a good deal, just know that you really are buying the bare minimum and expect to need to buy a lot of DLC for the most interesting aspects of the game.

Just a heads up. Total War: Warhammer I and II have been free on Epic Games in the past, so some of you may have them already.

May save you some money there.
