Mold from moisture
Don't you guys wash it, mold will grow that quickly? Vinegar and mild soap will get rid of it. I get that brushing is really a thorough and deep clean but really bristles, and possible damage to tubing, etc.. I just wash and shake the he'll out of it by spinning.

As per owner manual , use distilled water for clean operation, clean cpap hose just by running warm water for a few minutes every week, then hang dry. it should be replaced every 3 months.
