The only reasons I got the MX Vertical was stupid: USB-C charging and it was more expensive and more expensive is better.

The Logitech Lift is a compact vertical ergonomic mouse that stands out for wrist comfort, especially for long work sessions. It is repeatedly described as more comfortable than the larger MX Vertical, with a shape that fits medium hands well and a scroll wheel that feels better than expected. Bluetooth, the Bolt receiver, Logitech Flow, and quick switching across up to three devices add useful flexibility, and the removable AA battery is a practical plus. The main tradeoffs are a learning curve, occasional awkwardness for fine pointing, and a bottom mounted device switch that feels unintuitive. A strong fit for desk work if vertical mice suit your hand size.
The Lift can reduce wrist pain for long computer work sessions.
The Lift can feel more comfortable in shape and soft-touch surface than some alternatives.
The Lift supports Bolt receiver use, which helps when Bluetooth is inconvenient.
The Lift offers quick switch up to three devices and Logitech Flow support.
The host or device switch placement at the bottom can feel unintuitive.
Fine pointing and selecting can cause wrist curling for pinpoint accuracy.
The vertical shape and height can make it easy to knock over while moving hands.
The Lift may be less suitable for gaming due to fewer buttons and reduced precision.

Meanwhile I felt like the removable battery a big plus, I've seen many dead devices due to a bloated battery at this point. I understand fancy keyboards such as MX Keys won't work with AA batteries but there's no excuse for mouse.
Start of pandemic I bought one due to wrist pain, even tried it out first in Microcenter. But it wasn't right and I just end up with a perfectly normally good G305, ultimately the biggest difference maker to comfort was changing to a chair that had more adjustments available specifically elbow height.

The Lift feels a bit better for me in shape and "soft" touch surface, but the Anker has the value here.
Personally, this does nothing for me in the way of ergonomics. Now, I never suffered from carpal tunnel, so take that for what it's worth. The downside regardless of ergonomic benefit is that because of its shape and height, it's not uncommon that I accidentally knock it over when moving my hand from keyboard to mouse. Even after 15+ months of use, I still do it on occasion, enough for it to be annoying. I saw warnings about this in reviews and brushed them off, thinking I'd adapt, but I guess it's just hard to undo decades of muscle memory.
They don't last longer than Logitech's in my experience. especially the wheel is weak.
