This is not a Gruv issue, this is a studio choice. I've owned the Bond movies for almost 10 years in Vudu and they have never transferred because they are not MA because of MGM/Amazon owning them.

It pains me to say this, but movies on BF have been slim at best lately. Just like almost everything else lately. I will be watching and waiting, but I expect disappointment yet again.

Beware Gruv: The Bond movies do NOT allow a selection like MA or iTunes. Most "digital copies" with discs allow you to choose fandango or iTunes if they are not MA.

I've been wanting Amadeus in 4K and for a few cents more than Amazon has this one movie, I was able to get two from GRUV: Amadeus and Blazing Saddles. $12 each is a pretty good deal, IMO.

Would pull the trigger at 2 for $22. I think they're testing to see how sales will go for this promo before dropping to 2 for $22 OR $20.

Just looked at Skyfall and the note there is "Includes Limited Time Digital Movie Offer. MUST ENTER REDEMPTION CODE BY 3/31/2022 TO REDEEM DIGITAL MOVIE OFFER.". Ditto for Casino Royale.

So nope - wouldn't bet on it. Assume it won't work.

It's too bad because the holy trio of UHD + Bluray + digital solves all my needs:
Convenience / kid (scratch) proof = digital
Legacy for PS3 = Bluray
UHD is for living room when I get my new telly and want to see the best possible quality.

I've seen the same scenario many times for similar trio packages - sometimes you don't even get to find out until you try to redeem the digital code as to whether it's still valid. Not exactly consumer friendly - if you're going to try to convince me to take advantage of a deal, then give me confidence that what I'm buying will work - to give Gruv credit here though -- at least in the Gruv case it's calling it out that any digital code WILL NOT WORK.
