Decent price at $130. This will work as a UPS to connect your modem/router and a laptop/monitor and run for hours during intermitent power losses. Even during a power outage you can keep your employer happy by continuing to work(hooray?)

It will work as a UPS? That's just what I have in mind. Is there any clue, on this Amazon site, where I can confirm the UPS ability?

I usually like Anker products but these battery banks are junk. Bought a few for work and they all developed charging problems. As in shut off prematurely with 0% battery then you plug it in and the indicated charge level shoots to 100% in about 10 seconds.

There are two big caveats to using it "as a ups". First is, does the input source have the wattage to keep the output running? In this unit the max input is 65w, so you cant use more than 65w on the output side without drawing from the battery. Keep it under that, and it will only draw from the battery when the AC power goes out. Second issue, they have no 'restart' functionality, meaning if it does switch to battery, and the battery drains, it will not reactivate the output after the power is restored. For setups at home this is often not an issue, but if its for example a vacation home that you will be away from months at a time and it experiences long outages, you will end up with an offline device and need to physically restart it.

I wouldn't buy this, but the input power is not 65 watts, that doesn't make sense.

Thanks for sharing. I really need something that can address the "second issue" — could you recommend any products that will work? Thanks!
