Need to spend some more time testing the audio, but for the setup:

1. Positioning everything was a breeze since everything's wireless, but the satellite power cords are annoyingly short. I think some ppl will need to get longer cords, but they're the standard 2-prong power cables for everything.

2. I tried to just swap over the HDMI connection from the TCL but it didn't work and I stayed up late eventually figuring out why:

The Insignia REQUIRES an eARC/CEC signal to work, whereas the TCL accepts any HDMI connection. My setup is an Onn 4K Pro -> 4x2 HDMI hub (duplicates the input into 2 output HDMIs) -> TCL. This did not work at all with the Insignia.

So I would say better input compatibility is a big plus for the TCL. However I think most people will have eARC from their TV or whatever so maybe it's just a me problem, since I use a projector.

Soundwise it seems good, but it was late and I didn't want to wake anyone up. My big issue with the TCL was difficulty hearing dialogue, and the Insignia already seems way better in that respect.

Each speaker requires its own power. That could be good or bad, depending on your environment. No idea if it's any good, with 9nly 2 reviews to go on, but it is cheap, particularly for one with satellites and upfiring.

This looks very similar to hisense ax5125 line. The lcd display behind the speaker.grill is a giveaway. My guess is this is hisense oem 5.1.2. If this is the case this is a good thing, hisense is very solid for the price. This price however is great.

To add to my earlier comment, Hisense HS312 3.1 Ch Soundbar with wireless subwoofer | Hisense-USA https://share.google/eQglJDEkZFXvE2lpd the subwoofer dimensions gives it away. Of course the bar might be a little different. But this is hisense oem for sure

That's only a 3.1. So it wouldn't have up-firing or satellite speakers. So really not getting the full use of the Atmos functionality. Not to diminish the Hisense model, it is solid, no question.

Yeah for sure, thats only 3.1.2. Rear and upfiring rears make a big difference for sure.
