Thanks OP, ordered one for pickup tonight. Replacing / comparing to a TCL Alto 8+ 3.1.2 setup.
Curious to hear what you think

Don't know if I got this right from reading the specs but this soundbar does not amplify, speaker power is from the tv itself.
Is this how it works for most soundbars ?

I saw that as well. Someone had said this in the Q&A section. But I highly doubt that's true. AUX can send a signal that doesn't need amplification in weaker iems and headphones, but arc and optical just send digital data, so the sound bar handles all the amplification and processing.
There's no info on what the watt output of the system is. And I can't tell if there are discreet Atmos channels just looking at the bar, or if it's just processing Atmos channels like some 3.x.x systems are doing nowadays, which is kind of useless

Dead. Deal of the day that ended at midnight CDT. I placed my order with 15 seconds to spare. Hopefully a good use of McDonald's Monopoly $10 certificate then the remainder with gift cards from DoorDash.

It still shows up for me on DoorDash as $159.99 with scheduled delivery but no guarantees if that price will be honored in the morning or if the dasher will be able to carry the soundbar.

I just went to buy one using my $10 coupon that expires in two hours and it's back up to original price. ☹️

Years ago, I bought a soundbar, and satellite speakers that look very much like this (and have the LED display behind the grille- which is kinda' dumb). It's a Samsung HW-Q67CB. It was on sale at Costco, and I grabbed it. It was $240 or $250. This Insignia one looks very much the same. And we are delighted with the one we got (even if my wife was mad when I spent the money). If we needed a new one, I'd try this.
