In the red (300lb) the 4ft is on sale but only 30%, and the 6ft is 50%.
In the blue (type1-250lb) I see 6ft and 8ft still on sale.

Ditto. I'm done with fiberglass ladders. OSHA might love them, but they are much too heavy for my home use.

I agree. One of the BEST useful purchases I have ever made was this ladder from Polder. It is lightweight and a GREAT indoor ladder, light enough to carry around to any room in the house. I have 10 feet ceilings, and I use it all the time. I would NOT recommend these fiberglass ladders period. Here is the one I got

I recommend this ladder for indoor use very very highly. Most used item in the house! And I am not a shill, just a very happy customer after using fiberglass ladders my entire life. You will thank me.

$139?? FB marketplace might be a better option for an AL ladder that's not $139

That's a stepladder you'd use in your pantry, not a ladder like these.

Time to replace the rickety and bent old aluminum ladder.. this deal pushed me over the top. Considering that HD honors the vet's discount on top of sale pricing, I ended up buying two so that I can make some simple scaffolding in a pinch.
Anyone suggesting these are heavy... are you serious?!? I picked up two and carried them across the store and out to my car with zero issues and no cart. These are not heavy ladders.

I got the 8 foot (250 lbs) from my local Home Depot for $39 back in September. Was a complete fluke. Website showed it on in store clearance. Store had the ladder ring up at the full price. Long story short, the SKU on the exact same ladder changed. The old one was on clearance. Manager found one old SKU buried underneath all the new ones.

So what can you do with a fiberglass ladder like these vs my ladder choice? I used it for 20 years and before that used the fiberglass ladder 20 years. Once I got the Polder, I stopped using the fiberglass ladder inside. I have used it to do everything: repairs, light bulbs, paint, smoke detectors, hang curtains, plus it is safer to use than the fiberglass ladders.
