Wanted to get a paint sprayer for repainting some louvered shutters and some exterior walls but didn't want a handheld unit with all the weight held in the hand because of fatigue (and breakage) and wasn't going to invest $250+ on a Wagner or Graco.
Found this Phalanx setup on Amazon for $50 and it's got everything necessary for spraying a variety of materials while also separating the turbine from the paintgun itself. Few reviews, but are overall positive, and a quick search on YouTube came up with several people who've used it with good results, even on automotive enamel finishes.
At $50 for a shoulder carried unit that is 700W and can supposedly spray latex primers, I'm giving it a try.
