I want to see how the new multi-head printers play out. I feel it's not quite time to dive into this toy.

I am looking for a relatively inexpensive printer that can do PETG prints, typically only 6-8 inches in dimensions. What would be good budget 3D printer(s) one would recommend I set deal alert on?

What's the differences between the two AMS? I thought the Pro 2 only adds filament drying.

better filament tubes, easier to access filament tubes when they need replaced (major item if you want to deal with abrasive filaments).
I have not enjoyed my experience with the filament drier on Pro2. Have had to unwind all our filaments into the unit before hand. I would have preferred that be more or less automatic and it just dry, but alas, does not.

Does it make sense to buy this for 550 + taxes compared to centauri carbon 280 + 30 shipping an no taxes if I don't care about the ams?
Centauri Carbon has been pretty impressive for the price. I have that and a Bambu X1C. If you have no desire for multi color, CC is a solid choice. Quality on prints is great. I originally bought the CC for doing single color prints first and foremost(as a second printer after I already had the X1)

That said the deal here is pretty solid too. AMS is nice to store more moisture sensitive filament if you want to use those. Honestly, AMS is great to not have to switch filament manually quite as often.

Definitely recommend the AMS 2 for a slight price upgrade over the original AMS.

Incorrect. Sites are saying $550 for p2s standalone and $799 with AMS pro 2 combo. https://www.tomshardware.com/3d-p...-cant-have
That price has been removed on Bambu labs own website.

Wouldnt be impossible that the few published sources quoted a price that's not longer accurate due to tariffs. There are Best Buy employees on the Best Buy subReddit who have confirmed the $1050 price.

Given this black friday sale lasts ages and some people think mid november might be when they release the p2s for the us market, I think I'm going to wait to see what the p2s ams2 combo pricing will be. If it's $800 I think that's a better buy than the $620 for the p1s and ams2 combo.

But since it's sold through eBay, will the Best Buy cash back register? Most of the time I find those only process correctly if the actual charge comes from the listed vendor. So in this case it'd need to be eBay...Would love to be wrong!

EDIT: NM I'm dumb, missed the obvious fact going direct to Best Buy is an option

basically https://bambulab.com/en-us/polici...acy#node-2 they collect all your data and print files, and you have to go through them to use the printer.

and the printing harder filiaments like Carbon Fiber/Glass filled which you will eventually end up doing, it will destroy the ams
