I purchased and will be receiving on Wednesday. Will report back. Looks like there is no warranty directly from Apple. I used a credit card for 2 extra years of coverage. According to their FAQ, they source directly from Apple somehow usually clearance items or Laptops that were traded in somewhere.

Doesn't get credit card require first year of warranty provided by seller or the brand itself

Not per Citi Strata's guidelines.

If they are like the iPhone I got from Amazon, they are returns of devices assembled from parts and Apple will set a "end of warranty date" in the distant past (e.g. like 1978), and they will not be able to be added to things like AppleCare One.

You could get lucky though.

Is this a reliable seller? Seems almost too good of a deal.

I just asked for a price match and received this response: At this time, Best Buy does not offer price matching with Power Resale. Our Price Match Guarantee applies to select major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, and a few others, but it excludes third-party sellers and marketplace vendors like Power Resale.

Haven't purchased from them, but the reviews on Yelp and TrustedReviews vary widely. Here's one that makes me pause: "I bought a macbook from this Ipower resales which crashed and wanted into a firmware mode within a year. Took it to apple whom discovered the serial number was mostly likely associated with a stolen product. They therefore would not unlock, repair or do anything with a now dead computer. I reached out to ipower - no response - 2 weeks and waiting"

Some credit card accept store warranty to offer extended warranty
