Price drop by $50 for this. retail is $499 but it's usually always $399 on "sale".

I've had my eye on this for a while and will probably pull the trigger at this point.

I cross shopped this one, the HF, the Kobalt, and the Craftsman one maybe 6 months ago.

They are all very similar. This one actually had really good draw slides and was my runner up choice. The HF one wasn't bad by any means, but the draw configuration wasn't what i was looking for, and the other version only had doors. This one is a bit similar, in that the draw depth isn't much. Fine for some handtools, bit sets, stuff like that, but its about it. I found the craftsman one to have a better draw config.
Otherwise they are all very similar, and i wouldn't be surprised if they came out of the same factory.

Last year you could catch them for 300ish if you paid attention. Doubt they will get quite that low again, but someone always has something similar to this as a BF deal. Pretty sure I paid like 325/350 for my craftsman one in the spring.
Edit: Oh, one of them had a really crappy power strip. I'm guessing the HF one. Not a big deal, I'm sure you could find a better one of a similar size if you care. The only reason I gave it any attention was because I have all of my chargers on it.

Got this for $300 a year. I've been super satisfied with it. It's built stout and comes assembled (HD builds it once you order it so it took a week before I could pick up). Highly recommend.

I know Husky uses third party's to build big items like this so might be identical to other brands. The Husky shelving unit I got was identical to the one at Costco.

I have had this box for probably 8 or 9 years and it has held up well. I had it strapped down in an enclosed trailer for 6 of those years being towed around full of tools, extra quarts of oil, and other misc four wheeling gear. I locked it when towing and it held up great. It's now in my garage as a secondary box.
