Samsung's 75 inch Q8F looks like a strong value 4K QLED at around $800, with early discussion pointing to a solid feature set for the money. The price drew praise as a steal and even the lowest seen so far, especially for a 2025 model. The main knocks are its basic configuration and lack of Dolby Atmos support, and the deal itself appears to have disappeared after Amazon briefly matched Best Buy. Return handling and extended warranty costs also look worth checking before ordering.

its still available.. but just note, no dolby atmos support. looks basic config. i see not worth the price
Nobody cares about dolby atmos on this TV at $800. Those people buy a super high end OLED TV for $$$$$. This is a good tv and a steal for the features at this price.

Wonder where you can buy an extended warranty on this for cheap like costco has. Amazon has one for $110 but it looks like you need to have purchased the tv from them to get it. I ordered from bestbuy but not going to pay $180 for their 5 year geek squad warranty.

65" more popular and less discount. No need to discount as much. More supply of 75" and less demand because of size constraints. Need to discount more

I wonder if its better to buy from amazon or bestbuy. Same price. Wonder how they both handle returns and if its a PITA to deal with amazon since they say they can charge a heavy/bulky item return pickup fee as well as the item has to be new and unused.

Anyone have any experience with Amazon buying a large TV and needed to return?
I've always bought Samsung TVs. BUT - last I heard, Samsung will no longer automatically replace DOAs or other quickly noticed problems like dead pixels, damaged in shipping, etc right after delivery - they now make you wait for parts to fix it under warranty. I need a new TV but not sure ifI'lll purchase a Samsung knowing this. I'd have to really confirm the vendor's return policies.

Samsung anything never lasts for me. I find Sony or LG to last many years. Just my experience.
I've had my Q6FN QLED 65" since 2018 and had zero issues. Looking for a cheap 75+ or affordable OLED now to replace it

Same, because the TV is from Best buy, so even though you buy from Amazon you have to return it to Best buy. Amazon delvers for free, so I ordered with Amazon. However, if you're a Best buy Geek squad team member it makes more sense to buy from Best buy as insurance is included in their 200 annual price. If anything happens to the tv you'll be covered as long as you're a Geek 🤓 squad member.

Samsung Q8F vs TCL QM6K [rtings.com]
"The TCL QM6K is much better than the Samsung Q8F 2025. The TCL delivers much better picture quality, with higher peak brightness and better contrast thanks to its Mini LED local dimming feature. They have similar gaming features, but the TCL supports a boosted 288Hz refresh rate with lower resolution signals, great for PC gamers."
Interesting, if true, with the QM6K being only $50 more (it was $50 -less- at Costco, but that seems to have expired)
