These had bad mic when they first released but the updated firmware fixed it. I'm using it for meetings and it works fine.
The right bud is the primary one and it would drain faster than the left bud.

Bose sounds more direct. Out of the box, the Bose's bass is more impactful.
OpenDots sounds a bit hollow to me. The Dolby mode improve the bass but makes them sound darker and reduces the volume. Treble is better than the Bose.

I'd go for the Bose.
