I got one "used" during their last sale and it was brand new, I'm quite sure. I think they call these refurbs just to establish another retail channel to get rid of them. It's a fantastic unit BTW.

I have this from a refurb deal a couple years ago. Works great, lots of features. It is only 288wh and 300w max out on the AC. But solar charging works well and can use it while charging. It has lots of outlets, usb-c 65w, USB A QC3, wireless charging, DC out, solar/DC in, it holds a charge very well is light and small.

That said a lifepo4 car battery and an generic inverter will have way more capacity for about the same price.

Mine works great, came with a case. Just needs a little charge every couple months.

Where are you getting a LiFePO4 battery anywhere near 268Wh for $140? And an actual car battery version would be at least $300 unless you count the absolute trash aliexpress versions that arent even able to jump start a power wheels. Also, the charger is an extra expense in that scenario. For $140 theres not really any comparing this package to a build it yourself set of components.

Besides the trash reviews and fact that you still have to cobble together a high power charger AND inverter, what could go wrong?

Nothing if you can add one fuse and use a socket to tighten two screws. It's three premade objects you connect together. If this seems complicated, it's probably not for you.

I've had this unit for a few years now and I hate it. I've got 5 solar generators and this is the only one that is worthless to me. I tried to use it as a UPS for my modem/router. It works for a few hours and then flakes out. Very unreliable as a UPS. Reading other reviews, I'm not the only one with this issue. It doesn't have enough power to run my portable fridge or electric kettle. Another minor gripe is the handle. Once it is in storage mode, it is hard to get out. I keep a string wrapped around the handle so I can pull it out. The only thing I use it for during power outages is to charge the cell phones.

If you think its just 'slap some wiring and go' then its not for you either, but you wont realize that until your house burns down. Good luck!

Sounds like you have unreal expectations about this little beast, which is interesting because the give you estimates of what to expect: -Fan 20W for 6.8 Hrs-Mini Fridge 60W for 2.9 Hrs-Phone 15Wh charged 15 Times-Laptop 70Wh charged 3~4 Times-Drone 60W charge the 2.9 Hrs-Camera 5Wh charged 48 TimesPlease note the light duty tasks mentioned, then reassess your evaluation of the power station. It may just not be a good fit for your use case.
