It's been a while for me. Are these kinds of deals still hackable?

Yes, thinking of doing it for those batteries. $70 for 2 4ah seems great.

Order. Receive, then go and return the batteries. In checkout you can see the dollar amount assigned to each item. That is what you can expect to receive back.

these are showing $75 and $75 in cart. if i do the impact driver it shows $179/$149. and now the impact driver isnt even working. it depends it the discount appears above or below the line as a 'discount' or a 'bundle'

Not sure if you're asking how to do the hack, or judging me because on this specific deal the batteries are $75. I'll address both. To do the hack you can simply set one to be picked up at another store and never pick that item up and get the refund eventually. I just ship them both to my house personally and return one. To get the batties cheaper then $75 you'd have to look at the battery deal with the 1/2" impact drill, batteries are $67.69 in that deal.

Doubt it since usually corded tools have more power than cordless. unless the corded tool is like 20 years old maybe then the battery version would be better.

Click "Add to Cart" and you will immediately see the $149 split into two prices, a portion for the tool and a portion for the battery. Those are the individual prices you'll pay and/or get back on a return, including a partial return.
