Come on, I'd rather have brushless over bushed but brushed isn't that bad. This is a good deal imo

I believe this sale price was last available a year ago (October 2024).

When I bought mine, they were the only brand offering lifetime warranty on batteries

The Lifetime Service Agreement is a scam. I had to get my drill repaired twice and both times I had to pay because they said that particular repair isnt covered. And they had my drill for approximately 3 months each time. Also, they required me to give them the battery and charger with the drill, so I had to buy a new charger to use on my batteries in order to use my other Ridgid tools during this time. Also the drill was barely used. I am phasing my Ridgids out. Also, free battery replacement is more trouble than it used to be because now you have to return the old battery via Fed Ex.

I have a bunch of the Ridgid tools and I can tell you that these are the ceaper ones. You dont get the mini screw gun, the saws all isnt the orbital one, the flashlight and blower are worthless, etc... If I had to do it over againI would have gone with Milwaukee or DeWalt.

This is a very good deal, in my opinion, particularly for someone starting out and not tied to another battery system. You have to be willing to spend the time and effort to register these products to have the lifetime warranty. It is a an inconvenient and I'm sure most people do not register but I did and have gotten several items repaired over the last 30 years.

Maybe I'm the odd man out but I've never had any issues with the two battery and one tool warranties I've done with Ridgid previously. The lifetime battery replacement alone is worth it to me.

Also this is EIGHT tools and TWO batteries for $300. Yeah no duh it's not the highest end version. I bought the 5 piece version of this kit 6 years ago and the tools have had zero issues.

For the average homeowner/weekend warrior it doesn't really make much of a difference.

For someone using them daily for their job, sure.

They replaced my $250 cordless framing nail gun with no problems earlier this year. Only downside was waiting 2 ish weeks for the replacement one to come.
