That's the real shame with this controller with Xbox being super stingy with third party wireless capabilities. The only 8bitdo that works wirelessly on Xbox is the Rare Anniversary edition which I do currently have and love.
Great controller at a good price. Sucks that it isn't wireless on Xbox.
FYI these were on sale for $29.99 on Woot in March 2025, which was a slickdeals hot deal at the time (can't find the link for the SD deal but here's the woot link - https://electronics.woot.com/offe...for-xbox-2).
That said, these are great controllers, I have them peppered around the house. The switch in the back allows me to switch from my Nvidia Shields (bluetooth) to my Steam Deck docks (2.4 ghz). Very happy with them

I got mine from woot in Sept '24 for $39.99. Been my daily driver for Bazzite and Batocera till I just upgraded to an 8bitdo Pro 3. This is a solid controller and a slick deal!
