Offered on my AMEX BBP and Biz Gold. If you have multiple cards with this offer, you might be able to take advantage of both with a single stay since some hotels let you split payment by asking at checkin (YMMV).

I believe they mean bookings through Priceline and similar but I might be mistaken

Never had a case where you couldn't settle a hotel folio however you wanted. The more YMMV part is adding the Amex offer to mulitple cards. AFAIK that hasn't been allowed for quite a few years now.

Can confirm this works. Upon checkout, charged to multiple cards and received the credit on each.

Tried this when I had the $100 off $500 offer earlier this year. Didn't read the fine print and found it only includes a very (emphasis: "very") select few properties. Like the ones in Hawaii that cost $300/night anyway. I cancelled my Amex afterwards after the offer unsuprisingly didn't qualify, despite spending $650. I mostly did this to avoid the upcoming annual fee, but missing the fine print that this does NOT apply to all Hyatt Regencies (much less most of them) enraged me lol.
