Picked one of these up several years ago and it's been great. I've used it on wheel studs, wheel hub assembles, break calipers, lugs (of course) and ever since I f'd up my back, I use it on my oil drain plug as well.

Yea, I remember paying $100 just for two 4Ah REGULAR (not MAX) batteries about 7 years ago, and that was a decent deal at the time! They're still going strong, but I barely use them, though.

Hopefully they're not using it to put it on, but I see that crap all the time when I get my tires rotated. Sam's Club destroyed my lugs using an impact to put them back on.

Bought the Ryobi 2 Gal cordless sprayer and a Ridgid to Ryobi badapter. Own many Ridgid tools and have several bats from 1.5ah to 6ah Max Bat.

I've been majorly procrastinating on doing a front suspension overhaul on my car, mainly due to fear of running into issues using only basic hand tools. The last time I tried to replace my parking brake shoes, I couldn't take a wheel off, then I couldn't get the caliper bracket bolts off, and a couple hour job ended up taking me the whole day. This deal might give me the motivation!

The Ridgid has almost 2 times the power in a lighter smaller tool. And the Ridgid Max Bats are the better Ridgid bats and life time warranty. The Ryobi bats are the low end bats in the $100 deal. The $140 Ryobi deal has the better bats

Think long term for what platform, bats and tools, you want. Ryobi offers more tools but imho Ridgid tools are better and have the life time warranty. Im all in on Ridgid and also bought a Ridgid to Ryobi badapter so I can use a Ryobi tool that is not available on the Ridgid platform.

Just picked up this deal with the impact. I'm surprised to see how small this impact is in size.

For people that have this.... Is this impact capable of removed lug nuts, stubborn bolts off cars, strut bolts, etc? Its about the size of my impact drivers. Maybe need to return for the high torque impact?
