I built 70 feet of cedar fence with brushed Dewalt drill and driver. You must be drillling flr diamonds over there.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

The reality is that people who comment that 'brushed are bad' are typically homeowners that barely use tools and regurgitate internet lore. In the heavy industry brushed tools have been used for decades with no issues. Infact, noone in industry gives two Fs if something is brushed or not because having the right tool for the job (including powering said tools) is part of logic and the job at hand.

I bought this several years ago and have had free replacement on 2 of the drills and one battery. The impact was great redoing my 40x15 deck. Brushless is lighter but I'm content with lifetime warranty on drills and batteries

I got this deal two years ago and it was my first drill/driver, it's been a blast plus lifetime warranty (don't forget to register)
