Will it work in conjunction with first gen base station and first gen keypad? Thinking of adding another keypad

I'm not sure about the keypads, but the motion and contact sensors definitely can as they are Z-wave.

Yes.

I have the first gen keypad and first gen hub. My first gen keypad started flaking out, so they sent me a free 2nd gen keypad (unprompted? Creepy, but I guess they noticed on their end...)

I figured out the charger was the issue. So now I have a 1st gen keypad in my upstairs hallway, and 2nd gen keypad in my entryway downstairs.

If you have a z-wave lock on your door you can link it to Ring and deactivate the alarm avoiding the need for keypad altogether.

Great price and I've been meaning to buy a new keypad for ages. Mine is at least 5 years old and there's something wrong with the volume, it crackles when counting down to set the alarm but it still does the job. The $2 Ring Protect discount shows up in the payment screen for a total cost of $18 + tax.
