Fine for 1080p for now. In a couple of years, maybe? You could always upgrade it later I guess.

It's at least $350 more to get a 5070 12GB. So yes more than 8GB of vRAM would be better but you would be hard pressed to find a quality computer with the same specs under $950. IMO Lenovo Legion is probably one of if not the best, maybe you can find some random brand cheaper but probably won't have the quality or support.

IMO 8GB is fine for light to moderate gaming. The price jump to 12gb, especially on a laptop, is pretty high. This will do 1080p just fine for many years to come even if you need to lower the textures a bit in the future.

If you are a serious gamer, then I wouldn't do anything less than a 5070 ti 16GB, preferably a 5080, but you going to pay for it.

For the quality and specs I don't think this price is beatable. Maybe on BF there will be something but this is a great price for an entry/mid level gaming PC from one of the better companies.

Serious gamer? no. I'd like to do VR with my quest on this at some point. My current PC is so old. So im kind of out of the specs know. But all of my previous videocards have always been 16gb. That's the main reason i bring it up.

They do make a 5060 ti with 16gb but they are a bit harder to find. Also they tend to be $1100+ but might find a deal for BF.
