A cast iron is something you will keep a long time. Dont waste your time with this or lodge or anything. They dont sand down the cooking surface. I got a presanded (so completely flat cooking surface with no bumps) and pre seasoned for like $40 on Amazon and its lasted me 10 years and looks brand new. I think it even came with a silicon handle. Get some chain mail for cleaning!
