I have these, they're great open earbuds. Zero noise isolation, which is intentional. I paid $43 for them, so I think this is a good price. I think they go on sale frequently, though.

I own both these MC1s and the Anker Soundcore c30i. The MC1s sound good, the c30is sound better. Unfortunately, the MC1s are much more comfortable. The MC1s use a firm rubber that has some give. The c30is use hard plastic and supply rubber grips to adjust the sizing if your ears are to small. So, you can imagine what happens if you have bigger or thicker ears. I still swap between both but, the MC1s are my every day carry.
I bought the BC1 for $20 and like them. Are these a big upgrade?
A very small upgrade. They sound a little better than BC1. I haven't tested the mic yet. MC1 also more comfortable on the ears probably because of the soft cushion. These were $60+ not long ago. Not $20-40 better, compared to BC1. I can't imagine how much better $100-300+ are. Must be amazing. When i grow up i want to try in $100-300 range.
I bought the BC1 and while impressed for their price, had to return since the sound was unfixable, even after spending a lot of time building custom EQs. (Props to them for having an app I do not need to create an "account" in order to access/customize EQ and other settings.) I just received my MC1 Pros and while not anywhere close to perfect, after some tweaking with the EQ, they sound good and usable now. Both the BC1 and MC1 Pro are very comfortable and I have worn them all day without any ear pain, much better than what has been my daily driver, the Bose QC Ultra Gen 2.
I'd like to try out more expensive earbuds too, e.g. in the $50-$100 range but need to find some actually good recommendations. I'm wary of the "tuned by Bose" Baseus headphones and earphones but my end up trying them at some point (though one can get actual Bose QuietComforts for about the same cost on sale/open box).
