I get these for $14 on ebay. I often wonder if people steal from work and resell?

Watch out for fakes, easier to identify if you have the genuine one to do side by side comparison.

The ones on ebay could be fakes, especially if they are super cheap. I bought some cheap ones that I thought were genuine on ebay, and when I installed it I heard a loud cracking sound. Broke my ice maker and caused water to leak out from the bottom of my refrigerator. Never again.

Just got an email from Woot confirming these were fakes. Order was refunded and instructed to stop using.

I just received the same instructions and refund from them for my order back in August. I have real ones that look EXACTLY the same except for the outer packaging(the box) is a different color(blue, not black).

Yeah I looked at mine, and they are pretty damn good replicas other than being wrapped in plastic inside the package, which I don't think OEMs are.
