The list price is a joke, based on the lumpy horse site

I am so happy with every wera tool that I've purchased. I would absolutely jump on this if I didn't already make a big purchase this week

I am happy with most of my wera tools. They aren't always worth the price. I have the xs joker. It's amazing. But I do worry about the xxl given its application. That spring would likely bust. I think it's definitely more of a specialized tool. Hydraulic lines and such.

$63 on chadstoolbox which typically has competitive prices and no sales tax, so not a huge savings but also no padding for free ship

You're still expected to remit the sales tax if you're not charged it.

I love Wera and have several of their tools but the price can be steep sometimes. I've noticed these have been cloned and are for sale on AliEx. Has anyone taken the plunge on those yet?

I've always wanted a self setting spanner. I regret not buying one everytime I am using a none self setting wrench around the house (around 3x/week, my house is old and falling apart). I've bought "cheap" tools in the past from big box stores knowing it probably wouldn't last the project, and have had to repurchase again for another project. Is this spanner good enough for the price, or is there another brand that has a better pivoting head/spring for about the same price that's worth it?

Are there people dumb enough to actually do that?

You do still need to pay sales tax. I feel horrible when I don't pay taxes that I would otherwise need to pay. It's really unfair to everyone else (the government)

Knipex makes a somewhat similar type auto adjusting water pump pliers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000X4P...n_title_24
