Folks should know that Sennheiser recently released a new pair of ANC headphones, like just a few weeks ago. It includes the BTD 700 USB-C dongle mentioned above and is supposed to be a more premium audiophile (neutral) sounding headphone, with better ANC (supposedly, as some attribute it to a tighter seal), that can do it all. It's certainly priced that way too, at an eye watering MSRP of $499.95. The headphones come with a hard-shell case, can fold flat on your chest, and feature parametric EQ.

I've had AirPods Max, Bower & Wilkins PX7 S2, Sony XM4x and these.

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 are the best for me. The sound quality is the best, comfort is good, and battery life is long. Downsides are no Apple magic, just okay noise canceling, bad transparency mode, and cheap build quality.

Would absolutely recommend these at this price.

I bought these five days ago at Best Buy for $249. Uhh. Different color so doubt I could price match. Oh well.

That being said, great headphones. They are more comfortable than Beats Studio pro. The sound is better. Very clean. The noise cancelling is really good but I haven't been on a flight yet. It also comes with a good hard case.

I tried these headphones. The ANC was not the best, I was surprised how Bose and Sony were doing better than this reputed company.

The biggest issue for me was the clamping force, it was just too much to bear for more than 30 minutes

Seems to fold flat, but not as compact as some of the others. Here is an image from someone's review at amazon:

My Sony 1000XM3 folds better, but I think newer Sonys are like this Sennheisers too.

If you don't care about the colors and are still working return threshold, just try. If they say no, return and buy for cheaper.

I've worn mine on several flights over 9hrs with no issues regarding clamping force (YMMV as my head is a little large). Battery life is awesome; I didn't recharge it on those trips. ANC...it isolates plane noise enough, but not crying babies or yapping co-passengers. Sound quality is better than my ancient Sony X1000M1.
