Bought this model for $700 open box months ago. It's a decent model and I haven't had any issues with anything, though coil whine is noted in a few reviews on the BB website. Make sure you get it installed and try it out right away to see if there are any issues, the return period is only 15 days.

It's tough, because searching the card model brings up a review that states "Butter-smooth 4K gaming for less than $600" from 8 months ago...so it seems that MSRP has been up, down, and all around. Retail at Best Buy now is $720, but a similar ASRock model at Microcenter is selling for $670 BNIB - and a Sapphire is selling for $680 at Newegg.

Is it worth $720 brand new? Probably not, but if you need it now...

It's a legitimate concern to receive only a 16% discount for a used/secondhand item at this price (less of a discount if you look at the Newegg price of this item, which is $710) and I do not believe it to be worth the risk - especially with a very limited 15 day return policy.

any reason why you chose this card over the $600 powercolor 9070 xt that's brand new and $100 cheaper while you were at microcenter?
