That's a solid discount on Lego but still not enough for me to go 'sure, why not' and buy it.

Been waiting for a good price on this set. Glad I waited. This price is way better than I had hoped for!

I believe in science, which is why that set is ass. What were they thinking? It's a monstrosity tower.

I hate the new direction of lego. "Lets inflate the piece count by including random tiny little bits so we can say you're getting the same price per piece!"

Yeah, I'm kind of a Lego Maniac and my process for deciding whether or not to bite on a deal goes:

-Calculate price/piece
-Then, if it's a relatively complex set where you can't easily see most/all of the parts, I pull up the building instructions to see how many higher-value pieces (usually large and/or uncommon) are included
-Bonus points if I feel a lot of the pieces can be repurposed into an alternate build or MOC

This deal has a nice price per piece but just doesn't really check any of the other boxes for me, personally. Kinda cute and quirky set, though.

Such a cool set! The mini figures are Marie Curie, Isaac Newton, and George Washington Carver.

I'd be all in if it weren't for the multiple reviews pointing out that they got the DNA structure incorrect. Seems like a big deal to mess that up in a STEM set.
EDIT: apparently it's fixable so I guess I'll pick it up. Lots of criticisms out there but I think it's kind of neat.
