Do I just need to fork over the extra cash and get a 5090 rig w/ 9950x3D?
But then...I'm seeing a lot (I'm sure it's a vocal minority) of pics on the pcmasterrace subreddit showing burnt pin connectors for the 5090. Granted, it seemed to be with this yellow MSI cable only. Also, 1000w PSUs are what a lot of the 5090 prebuilts come with, yet people say that's not even enough. It's so confusing.
Finally choosing to get myself a badass rig to broaden my gaming horizon and I keep running into what seem to be red flags.
