BUY THE FULL SIZED A1

Honestly $199 for a small footprint printer like the A1 Mini is a steal. I'd personally have an A1 mini and skip even the A1. You can get a P1S right now for $399 versus the $279 for the A1. P1S is going to be a pretty big upgrade for $120.
They can go almost anyplace. It doesn't create any toxic gas.
you can find deals on filament on Slickdeals. just search

Is the P1S actually an upgrade from the A1? After reading the differences I found that the A1 is actually superior. The A1 just doesn't have an enclosure but everything else about it is better.
$200 is a good price but don't think you're getting it for 50% off.

The Pro version of that printer is about $100 and adds a full enclosure, an extra nozzle (different sized, not just a spare), camera and a decent air filtration system. I have the 5M but if the price different when I bought was under $100 I would have gone Pro.
Finally, the 5X is FF's multicolor system. The software end of things aren't as refined at Bambu's but the hardware is solid, the speeds are good and the price is about $50 more than this

Like the 5M, a factory designed "DIY" enclosure kit is available. I did the kit for the 5M and like it. I got the kit on sale for $30+a spool of PLA (about $12) to print the whole thing. I changed some infill settings to save some material and stuck with PLA for all parts. I like the kit since it keeps dust off the printer bed when not in use. It also reduces noise levels a bit. I should say, the A1/A1mini are reported to be on the quieter side of things. The FF nozzle fans are on the loud side without the enclosure.

Real-world speed: In practice, the P1S is about 10-15% faster on average, but this can vary depending on the print. For a large model, the P1S was 30% faster in one test.
But the A1 can change nozzles much faster and has better flow control technology.
