Is this a good sub? I currently have a Definitive Tech speaker setup, but the stupid amps in the towers are junk and make noise etc. through the subs. (Common issue I hear after age). Looking for a sub to take the place of those two junk tower subs. Thanks guys.

Get the RSL. Even the 10" ones will probably be louder than this due to the box size and compression. And MUCH better quality sound as well. The 10e (what I own) goes for $300 shipped, if you don't need the app controls and other bells and whistles.
