Anker's C300X DC looks like a compact USB power station best suited for camping, car trips, and backup charging for phones, laptops, cameras, CPAPs, and small fridges. The 288Wh battery, 140W USB C output, lantern light, and pass through charging get strong real world praise, and the included 100W charger adds value at this price. The main limitation is that this DC version has no AC outlets, and the size is closer to a lantern than ultra portable. It is also too large for TSA flight limits, making it a practical off grid helper rather than a travel battery.

  • The C300X can power many USB-C and USB-A devices quickly for camping and home charging setups.

  • The 288Wh-class capacity can cover multi-day car camping needs for cameras, phones, and tablets.

  • The DC workflow supports pass-through charging using an XT60 charging approach and USB-C trigger cables.

  • The unit can run a Starlink Mini off-grid when paired with a 100W solar panel, and it can also support a 12V fridge/freezer in a truck.

  • The C300X version lacks AC plugs, which limits backup power during outages.

  • Thermoelectric coolers can drain the battery in about 5-6 hours, while compressor fridges last much longer.

  • The battery capacity may be unsuitable for flight travel because it is nearly three times the FAA TSA 100Wh per battery limit.

  • Recharge-time estimates may be optimistic because charging slows significantly after roughly 80-85% battery.

I bought another one. It looks like a good deal with the 100W power adapter.
I don't own this product, so I can't speak for the Power station but if someone wants to buy the 100W Power Adapter that itself will cost about $30 or more from reputable retailers.

I'd definitely get this if it was TSA approved for flight travel. However, it's almost 3x over TSA's limit of 100 Wh per battery.

TSA limit is higher, depending on airline; Most airlines allow 2x150Whr units per passenger in carry on. I dont get why these name brands are ignoring this market and itss idotic to see how few of those are available. i had to go no brand option on amazon at similar price point, though TBH its been working out awesome.

Anyone have any experience with this exact model?
I bought it over a year ago for the pre release price of $149. It didn't come with a power brick but rather an over-the-shoulder strap...which I don't use..lol. I've taken it on a few camping trips and never had any issues. It definitely provided enough juice for 2 days, 2 nights. Although I did bring a 100W solar panel to top off, I could've done without. The USB-C ports top out at a whopping 140w which is awesome! The light is a nice added touch..esp for camping. 3 levels of brightness. For a $110, it's a steal!! I'm tempted to buy another one just for the brick 😀

Curious but what is your use case?
I'm not the original commenter, but I'm thinking about getting something like this to keep my dash cam running while the car is off without draining the car battery. The idea is to plug it into the car lighter/USB and then plug the cam into the battery bank, so it charges while the car is on and discharges while the car is off. I haven't confirmed that this has pass-thru charging yet though.

It mostly depends on whether you want AC outlets or not. The 521 is lower capacity, larger, and heavier, and has fewer USB-C ports than the C300X DC (1 vs. 3). Oh, and this C300X deal comes with a 100W charger.

Yes. Took it camping to Yosemite recently. Loved it. Used it to charge our phones, laptop and run a portable laser projector for 2 days. Not too heavy. Compact, so it doesnt take up too much space. Never really used the bluetooth feature, bit good if needed. I also added a 12V to usb adapter to expand the charging options. No complaints.

I have one for camping. I power a CPAP, two phones, and camera batteries. The lamp is neat but a bit too dim to be useful and we need a secondary light to light up our 10x10 tent. I bring a solar panel with us to charge it just in case, but haven't really needed it for 2 night stays.

The price is comparable to what I got a refurb Ecoflow River 3 at the beginning of the year, $115. Albeit a little bit more power, 245Wh vs 288Wh. River 3 has the AC port and UPS function but only usb out. It is much lighter than the river 3. I'm able to use the XT60 to 12v adapter from river 3 to charge the Solix via the solar port.

How long would this power an Igloo Thermoelectric 12V Cooler???
Thermoelectric coolers run constantly compared to compressor fridges. Thermoelectric coolers use 40-50 watts, so it would only run for about 5-6 hours. It will run a compressor fridge for about 24 hours.

If the cooler consumes 50W, it will run for over 6 hours. The refrigerator probably won't run continuously, so this power bank could last for half a day or even a full day, depending on the weather.
Thermoelectric coolers run continuously unlike compressor fridges. They are power hogs. The same sized compressor fridge will run for 24 hours.
