So this is really a moped-style motorcycle, as the moped/motorcycle threshold is usually 30mph. Not legally an ebike as those are capped at 750W and at most 20mph on throttle. That means license, registration, insurance, etc when used anywhere but private lands or a motocross track. Assuming it has a VIN and can pass a vehicle inspection, both of which seem like a stretch.
Shame. $900 for a street legal motorcycle would be a very slick deal.
Seat is little uncomfortable. Padding is not enough. 25-30 Max speed on single motor. Closer to 25 especially windy or you are typical fat American
20 ah battery add on, bike doesn't have battery balancer as of early 2025. So you have to manually change the connector to the other battery.
Everything else is basic. Brakes shifter gear pedals lights etc. don't think they have a rear rack as of yet.
M5 ultra is dual motor and double battery but still no balancer.
859 is okay-solid price for a new 1000w watt motor bike. CA, illegal to have throttle if you are a class 3, this is a class 3 after unlocking. If you live in hilly area, this probably a pass, dual motor is a must
