Flexon 5/8 inch x 150 ft Supreme Duty Water Hose

This is a clearance item, so in-store - but the website should show the price at your store.

Most stores around here have a dozen or so in stock.

Normal price $70 ... clearance: $33

From the multiple review pics of burst hoses, it appears to be a typical thin vinyl hose. Can't trust the "duty" ratings of hoses anymore.

Lifetime warranty, although the claim form on the website isn't working for me.

Considering that, will probably wait another clearance price drop to risk it since there are so many around me at clearance price. Thanks for the heads up though

Might be good for 'static' usage.. like a drain hose for a dehumidifier or submersible pump.. something where you don't have to handle the hose much, if at all, when in use. That's where cheap hoses work best imo because they aren't usually friendly if you need to drag them around (they kink a lot and/or they're stiff).

In my 55 years I have never bought "expensive" hoses and I have never had one bust on me. The worse that happens is I drive over the nozzle and have run over one with a lawn mower. I still have a 100' hose I bought for $10 nearly 10 years ago.
