I'm going to say no. 5070 laptops should be cheaper than they are now in general but this isn't even the best 5070 deal on the Lenovo website, that is the non-pro Legion 7i with the same specs for $1,641.49. Or, you can step up to a Pro 5i with 5070ti for only $1760.24 through Lenovo (this would be my current pick).

I'm guessing open box? I've had my eyes glued to this site for months for a new (not open box) Lenovo Legion deal and haven't seen anything like that.

I was about to say - I recently got the Legion 7i w RTX 5070 for ~$1490 from Lenovo with education discount & a couple coupons stacked. Got an additional $430 back in points via a targeted offer, making my total cost under $1100 for the Legion 7i.
