This Milwaukee 10 piece screwdriver kit stands out for its comfortable grips, magnetic tips, and lifetime warranty. The set covers Phillips, slotted, and square drivers, making it handy for everyday household fixes and battery changes in kids toys. Square drivers are especially relevant for some electrical components, though they are less useful than Phillips or flathead for most tasks. The price also compares favorably with an older $25 Black Friday sale, making it a solid compact set for general use.

  • DIY homeowners who do a mix of household repairs and want a compact screwdriver set because the tips are magnetic and the Milwaukee grips are "among the best," plus it comes with a lifetime warranty.

  • Parents with small kids who regularly change the many batteries in toy devices because screwdrivers are needed for the dozens of battery changes.

  • People who want a screwdriver set for general use beyond just impact drivers because even if you mostly use drills/impacts, you still need screwdrivers for occasional small-electronics work (and the set can fill that gap).

  • Electricians or people doing frequent electrical work who expect to rely heavily on square-drive screwdrivers because one commenter says typical household outlet/switch/baseboard work hasn't required square drivers and suggests electricians would want something better than this set.

  • Buyers who specifically want Torx bit drivers instead of square/Robertson because a commenter almost bought these but chose a Husky set that includes Torx bit drivers (and notes the Milwaukee set doesn't match that preference).

Decent set, I really like the Milwaukee grips on these. Some of the best in my opinion.
I like the grips too.. enough that I bought a another set of them (after liking the ones I got) to retire the random hodgepodge of screwdrivers I have kicking around in my garage toolbox.

Don't really have a whole lot of use for more square screwdrivers though, especially considering that I also have an insulated set with square blades.

Concerning the square screw drivers, I thought that too when I had some square bit drivers but I found that a lot of electrical components have square bit compatibility like breakers and outlets lugs. Also the grounding bars, and neutral bus bars have square head compatible screws.

I know.. Electrical stuff is often ECX compatible, too, which I also have in my insulated set.
Most people, though, will have less need for square drive screwdrivers than philips or flathead.

That tells me you aren't an electrician, nor do you work on the electrical system of your house.
Just the typical outlet work, baseboard heaters, switches, in my house and others. I know their place but have never required them in the work I have done.
I'm also thinking that if I was an electrician I would be looking for something a bit better than this set.

There's a 14-piece Husky set for $13 at Home Depot as well but has three torx bit drivers so call it a 11-piece.
Torx bits and drivers are actually useful to me, far more than square bits. Didn't have the proper size allen bit to fit a bolt but had a Torx socket that fit perfectly.

the #1 square drive is a perfect fit for the mounting screws for outlets and switches. So much better than a straight blade.

What would you consider to be a "better" set?

Milwaukee markets a lot of their hand tools to electricians. My preference would be Klein, but aren't Milwaukee well regarded?

In my experience, all most all electricians carry 10 in 1 or 11 in 1 screw driver. I replaced the torx bits in mine with the ECX tips.

I never use a flat blade for anything, unless absolutely necessary. ECX bits are something I have considered but since I am not a practicing electrician and rarely work on that sort of stuff, it's a very low priority for me.
I would say Klein is a good choice for a proper set of electricians hand tools. Milwaukee might be okay to fill in the gaps but their stuff can be hit or miss these days. I would prefer something that is properly built for electrical work.
