you can check on the Costco app. on the bottom, click on warehouse and search. price should be accurate. 1 of 3 locations near me has this price but it also happens to be the worst Costco in the US.

Induction heating ONLY works on pans that will stick to a magnet. Half of stainless types are magnetic.

So it appears to be in stock at our local Costco, but the listing that came up via the warehouse search show the original price of $79.99. Does anyone know if it will have the $30 discount? I recently discovered while shopping for Frontline that stuff in the warehouse is not guaranteed to have the same manufacturer's discount that you can find online. Very annoying, IMO.
Yes, it will show the $30 discount in the app. Here's an example listing

is it hard to clean since it is not non-stick surface?

is it difficult to find a matching non-stick wok since it is concave and I need something of exact match?

Does it use standard plug or higher voltage one?
Standard Plug. I got one last month at the $80 price (Amazon sells them for more than twice that). I am very pleased. It gets very hot very fast, Compared to my electric stove I get a real fast sear on both meat and veggies in stir frys. Only about a 7" circle in the center gets hot, but that is how woks are supposed to work....moving things in and out of the hot spot.

I conditioned the wok in the oven (remove the plastic handle cover, lightly oil, leave it for an hour at 450) and it has remained seasoned/non-stick perfect ever since.

I would have liked this lower price, but I enjoyed using it so much it does not bother me. Its true that it works best when you cook smaller amounts for 1 or 2. Perfect for me.

Bought this when it was first available at Costco. Using once or twice per week. Since then cracks have developed all over the plastic casing.

This appliance is great in concept but not so great in execution. Even on its highest setting it cools down too quickly and the pan itself is not thick enough to retain the heat. As previously posted, you need to cook in small batches or the items you cook have to have a small water content.
What are you expecting to achieve, exactly? It's induction, so it's as responsive as gas when you "adjust" the heat level.

Great, thanks for letting me know. Could you please also comment on the curvature of the base? I have a couple of nicer woks and would like to use them instead

What are you babbling about?

I believe they are referring to the adage "Penny wise, pound foolish"

Basically: to be extremely careful about small amounts of money and unwise about larger amounts.

According to Cambridge [cambridge.org].

im assuming that they mean a Costco membership is a wise larger investment. But, who knows?

I seasoned it (and cook in it with) avocado oil as it has a super high smoke point. The ones you mention should work as would safflower.

Its a 14" with a curved bottom and the induction base is curved as well, so I would guess a flat bottomed wok would not transfer heat well. I'm happy with the one it comes with, but if you find another that works let us know.

It is thin so it does not retain heat well, but I do not think that is a disadvantage. It is nice to be able to cool something that is burning a bit almost instantly, And, it heats almost instantly as well so you have a lot of control.
