Off of the top of my head The main differences are the panel finish and the number of HDMI 2.1 ports, making the 75QM6K Pro ideal for bright rooms and gamers with its anti-glare coating and four full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, while the standard 75QM6K is better for darker rooms and has a more glossy panel finish and two HDMI 2.1 ports. Both models use Mini-LED backlighting with the same number of local dimming zones, and share similar overall performance in terms of viewing angles and black uniformity

I recently bought this. It's 10 days before first delivery time slot but the warranty starts on day of purchase even though I have no possession for 10 days. It's a very good tv. Rtings.com has it at 7.1 overall which is pretty good. They did not review the pro version which has some advantages. More 2.1 ports, anti reflective coating, and the same HVA panel as the qm7k. So the rating is probably higher but no idea how much. I demoed the 98" at the store and it was noticeably better than the other panels in store. More OLED like. Other reviews really really like this tv and seemed to give it more than the ho hum review from rtings . Side by side with the qm7k it does really well except for HDR brightness. Very much on par with it. For the money this is a best bang for buck. The lowest price for the pro Costco version and the 5 year warranty. This is a very solid combo. This tv is on par with much more expensive tvs with full array, micro led, and local dimming. I just worry about quality but the 5 year warranty deals with that. You have to spend twice as much money for a big brand with the same features and performance. Another option would be the Hisense U6 from Costco which will be $750 in a few weeks for the 75" and has some advantages and disadvantages. I just saw more people complaining about the Hisense in reviews about malfunction and poor warranty service than TCL so not sure about them. The tvs are comparable and similar but TCL just seems a bit better overall.

This is a good price. It's been bouncing up and down for the past month or so, with this as the consistent low.
I'm still hoping the 85" drops to $900 again. It's advertised at $999 around Thanksgiving, so we'll see.

This is what folks at Rtings posted in their discussion thread regarding QM6K Pro -
"I'm not sure if we'll review it or not, but honestly it's not really necessary. We asked TCL about this model and they confirmed that the Pro has the exact same internals as the QM6K, but with the panel coatings of the QM7K, so you can see exactly how the QM6K Pro performs by looking at the QM6K test results, with the QM7K's reflection handling."

Edit: I didnt see any mention of more 2.1 ports in the "pro", so not sure where they are seeing that. To me its just better reflection handling; nothing else is different.

The TCL QM6-7-8-9 K series are the best Mini-LED. tV for the money.

Great TVs at any of those price points.
This deal would be perfect for people just entering the 4K large TV market & watch different of content (streaming, cable, sports, bright rooms) but don't want to build a theater yet.

It has the same internals as the QM6K but features TCL's new Crystglow HVA Panel, which was first released on the TCL QM7K. It offers the same overall performance as the QM6K, but with the anti-reflective capabilities of the QM7K. In Canada, this variant is known as the TCL QM67K."

I was going to get the 65" Q8MK when it drops below $1,000 again from BB. Would this be a better option? I'm currently using a 50" Samsung Frame and want something a bit bigger, but not sure if 75 would be too much.
