I've had some for 6 years. Just keep it in an air tight container. Mine are stored in mason jars, vacuum sealed.

IN FOR 5, THANKS OP!! I like how these tend to be annually put on 50% discount every late fall. I had a $10 off $75 paying with discover card points promotion. Even adding 1 penny from the discover points activates the $10 off. I plan to use this in Sunshine Mix #4 that I got on clearance, the potassium is too high to use this with Coco Coir IMO.

I compared both slickdeals before going with the Osmocote Plus. The Osmocote Plus N-P-K is 15-9-12, Miracle-Gro Shake & Feed N-P-K is 12-4-8. The Osmocote Plus is slightly cheaper with Subscribe & Save. The Osmocote Plus is a uniform synthetic blend, with each granule having the slow-release coating. The Miracle-Gro Shake & Feed granules are separate ingredients mixed together, with the slow release polymer coating only being on some of the Urea granules, giving an edge to Osmocote Plus for things like hanging baskets. Miracle-Gro Shake & Feed will get the job done though, and unlike the Osmocote Plus, some of the ingredients are natural, like kelp meal, feather meal, alfalfa meal, bone meal, worm castings. plus the Miracle-Gro Shake & Feed container is much more convenient for quick/easy applications.
