Would've been better if you shared the complete details.
The $800 was for good refurbished and came with only 1 year All-state warranty, whereas this is certified refurbished which means it would be in a much better cosmetic condition and comes with a 2 year All-state warranty.

Share the link to that.
The most recent one, posted back in August-September, was good refurbished and that was a popular deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/18596080-acer-predator-helios-neo-14-refurb-14-5-qhd-ips-120hz-intel-ultra-7-155h-rtx-4070-16gb-lpddr5-1tb-ssd-852-83?v=1&src=SiteSearch
In comparison to that, this is better.

Edit: Love the downvotes for stating facts. I have provided a link to support my claim, whereas the other person has not.

Very common in thin and light 14" Gaming laptops; same as the 14" Asus Rog Zephyrus. Nothing new.
No dice? Good, as it saves this for others who know what they want.

Paid $50 less for this brand new. Great laptop. Plays Total War Warhammer 3 and BG3 on max at the 1600P but needs to be propped up or on a cooling pad.

It's very light and portable. That's should be the main reason for purchase.

It's a full 125 W GPU on turbo mode. CPU and ram get over locked as well. The ram is LPDDR5X with a very high frequency. Will outperform standard DDR5. Never hit ram max gaming yet.

I bought a recent model with a 13700h and 4070 and plug it into my large monitor, makes a great gaming station I can take with me! 4070 mobile is effectively a 4060, 10-20% faster. I'm happy with my purchase. It is soldered memory as others have said.

I bought a certified refurbished laptop from this seller and it was in pretty good physical condition, with a few scratches and scuffs. The screen had a total of 7 individual or clusters of dead pixels and one small group of bright (red) pixels in a line, though. I returned the laptop a week or two ago, and just got notified that "the seller has opened a case against [me]" (whatever that means). I've gotta say that I'm not happy with either Acer or eBay at the moment.

Took me weeks to get a refund on the same deal. Bad seller.

Okay, this is the usual key question (and thank you for the info), so sorry to be pedantic, but is it one of those "one soldered with one open slot" or is RAM not upgradable at all?
