I also have Costco's Infinity X1 5000lumen which lasts more than double the usage time. And it is already very bright for everyday usage. While there is noticeable difference between the two, the extra brightness is no longer useful. Currently Costco has the newer model of X1 (7000 lumen) @ $39.99 after $10 off.

If I could only get one, I will pick X1 w/ 7000 lumen due to battery duration. It also has an battery case to take in AA batteries in case build in lithium battery runs low. Highly recommend X1.
Is Infinity the flashlight house brand for Costco?

After owning this and the sp36, there is really no reason to have these lights other than for wow factor. You can't carry them every day. And doubt you would use this even once a week.

But us junkies will always buy another light. Next form factor I am looking at are the flat lights ala ark pro.
Grab an IF25a if you havent already. Similar brightness to the sp36, but much smaller and more useful for every day.
I own both, I had been debating this larger brother of the sp36 but use the 36 so little I cant justify it.

I have 4 of these and i use them as house lights and use em to light up the floor and high ceiling corners when i vacuum i can see all the debris and dust. i keep on low to medium and they last a long time. When they run out of charge i charge them at work. I also use them to scare off animals when i walk my dog using the strobe feature. Also doubles as an effective hand warmer during the winter as it heats up rather quickly when u put on full blast.

I have one and it is legit bright, as bright as car HID's... but at max it does drain fast so having 2 will be good, but it is a fck brick, not realistic as a constant carry

Any issues charging this via the built in charger or do I need an external charger? Also, any deals on handles that will fit?

It's best practice to use a "real" charger so more heat generated by charging can escape to the environment (I even have a box with a noctua fan for airflow that I charge in). The cooler the batteries during charge/discharge, the longer the life.

That said, unless you are using this daily and will only charge it once every 3-6 months… eh, the cells will die from age related chemistry issues instead of heat and cycles so there's no huge harm. Follow your use case.
Edit: also I have these for other flashlight handles and like them: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0FKMZ3MGB/

SP36 pro is better option. Q8 is brighter….but you don't really need it. SP36 is bright as the sun, Q8 is just insane. You don't need the Q8 brightness for the $$.

IF25a was discontinued a while ago.

Deal is still valid. "Additional charges" are taxes, which aren't included in deal price because the rate/amount varies by location.

You can get a handle from Convoylight for under $10 shipped. Shipping time is about 2 weeks, so if you need it faster they're on Amazon for more $.

Hmm Wurkkos TS26s seems like a pretty solid alternative in a similar format.

For those who think this is too powerful, I think it's perfect for my use case. I use it for defense.
We have a lot of vagrants where i live, that come and walk on our property to scrounge around and loot. I caught one on my security cam coming up my driveway late one night so i busted out the Q8 Plus. I turned it up to 16000 lumens and shined it directly at his face. He was pretty much stunned and couldn't even look my way it was so bright, so he ran off.
Especially at night, I think it's a better alternative than a firearm/bat because of how bright and blinding the light could be. I roleplayed and had my wife shine it at me while I tried to approach her. It's pretty much impossible unless you have your eyes closed the whole time.

they ship from china. don't matter what they claim. They are using the technicality that they "ship from US": Ship from China, then, after it cleared US customs, it did ship from within the US.
So expect this to take 2 months or never to receive it.
