VA Panel
Doesn't mean much in 2025. VA panels today can provide a better experience then IPS. Lousy IPS can be way worse than decent VA.

This or the EDB323QU for $7 more. Looks like that is a 2022 release with DP1.4 but 250nits versus this one is 2020 release with DP1.2 and 400nits.

Any display experts? Need for kiddos under 10yo xbox usage.

If the 400 nits version is cheaper, I'd go with that. More bang for ur buck, and brighter haha

It's $8 difference and I'm guessing nits won't matter to kiddos. The other one has more updated specs. Am I missing something?

The extra nits matter. I have this monitor from a previous deal. Out of the box it was fairly blah running at presumably 250 nits. But there is an HDR400 mode you have to put it in and then it really pops.

Got 2 of these refurbs for my preteen kids last Christmas and they're still going strong. It's their favorite gaming item and only having spent roughly this same price just blows my mind how much quality you get for the price. Colors in games really pop and everything my kids play just looks great.
