I am not sure anyone can compare it to be honest. I had OG one from 15 yearsd ago with those fiber optic connectors that made me sides bleed. I do remember those were hard to drive... I imagine these are lighter, more comfy, easier to drive, but sound wise, I am not sure.... things have changed alot in the last 15 years

The Ananda is another solid level above these, but they are still double the price. I would personally go with the Ananda after hearing both.
