Ahh yes. I see the 2 pack for $94. Wonder if I'll actually need the satellite. Is 6E wifi (or 6Ghz I guess) better coverage than 5?

Thank you, was able to grab them with the geek squad coverage. Price is about the same as used off marketplace right now.

Would this be a significant upgrade to Google Wifi 1st gen. I've had it since 2016 and it seems to be working fin for our purposes (4k streaming on 3 devices at the same time max is the most intensive use), but this also seems like a great price (there are some available near me for $91). Or is it a waste of money given that things are working fine as is?

What's your broadband speed? What speed are you getting with the current router / access point?

We are in the same place, have fiber and get speeds of about 250 Mbps jacked in to one of the mesh Ethernet ports. I want to get closer to fiber speeds for video backups, so trying this as an upgrade

I am pretty much in the same boat, gen 1 has been pretty solid for me. Tipping point was considering security, I don't think gen 1 is officially end of life for support; however, considering it's 10th birthday is coming up and last significant patch I think was 2022, it has to be sometime soon. I was able to pick some up open box @ ~$37 each, figured wouldn't get it much cheaper if I waited.
