Secondly, a friendly reminder - not everyone needs unlimited talk/text/data. Some people just want an emergency phone, or something with a valid number that they can give out for spammy crap like stores asking for a phone number for discounts. You said so yourself. If you think that's not useful - enjoy all that spam, I guess.
Thirdly, a 4G radio is fine for most applications. A micro SD card slot will let you add half a freaking terabyte of storage for 20 or 30 bucks. No one using this kind of phone needs more than 4gb of ram. These are great devices for people who just want to fit an absolute crap ton of apps, music, movies, and TV onto a phone.

This bundle is mainly a low cost way to get two Moto G Play 2024 phones with a year of Tracfone service, best for a backup line, Wi Fi use, or harvesting the plan. The phones are 4G only with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM, and the included service is very limited at 1500 talk, text, and data units for the year. The bundle also includes chargers and some orders arrived with extra power banks. Main caveats are the slow performance, Tracfone locking, and the need to activate and keep service active for about 60 days before unlocking.
The promo code can be entered on the final checkout screen after payment details, and the price updates automatically.
The phones can unlock after 60 days of active service, and SIM switching to another phone can be done without contacting customer support.
The included Tracfone plan can be used mainly over Wi‑Fi with occasional calling, which fits emergency or secondary-phone use cases.
The phones support microSD expansion, which can help offset limited internal storage for media and retro emulation.
The bundle includes AC and car chargers, which can reduce extra accessory purchases for a spare phone setup.
The phones are 4G-only and can feel slow or laggy, which can make them painful for modern tech needs.
QVC can cancel orders or restrict "new customer" eligibility, including cases where different email, credit card, or address triggers cancellation.
The included annual plan is extremely limited, with only 1500 minutes/texts and about 1.5GB data for the entire year.
Tracfone unlocking and plan transfers require careful activation timing, and some workflows can temporarily deactivate the line.
Hotspot use is constrained by the small 1.5GB data allotment, and Wi‑Fi usage can burn through data faster than expected.

64-22=42. And since everyone and their uncle needs you to download their Ahh-Pee-Pee to use their service anymore, that adds up. 300mb-500mb-800mb+ for each one of those.
And that's not counting a single email, song, movie, offline map, offline translated language, personal photo, or recording.
You'll be constantly connecting the phone to a computer to dump the contents off of it. So sure, if you don't plan on actually using your device, 64gb is "enough". For everyone else, get something with more storage.
Go look up the reviews it is truly the slowest thing ever, and it should never have been released. It trips over itself so much. Everything has lag. It is a punishment to use.
Motorola in any rational world would not have been allowed to sell this piece of crap

Just because you need something does not mean someone else does not have different needs. You seem to have a hard time understanding this.

Promo Code: "HELLO10" works and gives you $10 Off.
I just ordered this set.... my total was $65.08 (including tax)
The Moto G Play phones are junk... just toss them or sell them on ebay.
Then use the 2 "1 Year Service" cards and add them to your existing account.
Two years of additional phone service for $65 bucks? Hard to beat.
Currently using a "Moto G Power 5G" with an Unlimited Talk/Text & 24GB Data Plan
Excellent phone for the price...but just any TF approved smartphone will work.
Also: I highly recommend to debloat your phone from useless junk apps.

Does 4G has good re-sale value if I disliked it - compared to 5G?
