Mine work pretty well... And I have a lot of them. But thank you for your anecdotal comment.

I find it interesting that some are USA made and others foreign made, like in Vietnam. I wonder if the quality is different between the two...not to mention the price. Kinda easier to say whatever and go with Klein...but even some of their stuff is foreign made now so I'm not sure what that proves if anything.

How about instead of *only* trashing the product, you suggest an alternative which isn't "trash"?

Good point. I try to buy USA made whenever there's a legitimate choice. You're right in that Klein Tools still makes a chunk of their stuff in the USA, like this one.

While these say electrican's tools, they are not electrical insulated to protect from live voltage like Klein tools.

Shouldn't be working on live wires. It's not necessary and just risking your life for no reason other than time savings.

Unless specifically stated, Klein tools are not electrically insulated. In my experience (35 years), hardly any electrician actually owns 600v insulated tools. Why? Because of articpro's spot on post below.

I use the needle nose and dykes daily for repairing hospital beds and ambulance stretchers. While they may not be the greatest for an electrician, they're alright for everyday work.

Can't speak for all the pliers, but I do have a set of the comfort grip 6 in 1 pliers and they are great for almost all the electrical work I do when paired with a drill or multi bit screw driver. (Much better than carrying around a pair of lineman's, needle nose, and those terrible stamped Klein strippers) These likely aren't going to be Kinpex quality, but you're getting 5 good tools for the price of 1, maybe 2 Knipex tools.
